Joining Celtilait means taking on a highly operational role at the intersection of technical expertise, commercial development, and international business expansion.
Reporting to the Animal Nutrition Division Director - Anne, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of distributors and partners across France and selected export markets. Your mission will be to accelerate business growth, strengthen long-term partnerships, and promote Celtilait’s premium milk replacers and nutritional programs for young mammals.
Business Development & Prospecting (40%)
A core part of your role will be to convert new business opportunities in both established and emerging markets.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Mapping target countries, distributors, and market segments with the highest growth potential.
- Identifying and qualifying prospective distributors, feed manufacturers, and agricultural partners.
- Conducting commercial prospecting through calls, video meetings, trade shows, and in-person visits.
- Opening new accounts and leading onboarding from first contact to initial orders.
- Preparing tailored business proposals and commercial offers.
- Negotiating pricing, volumes, contractual terms, and logistics conditions.
- Building and implementing territory-specific development plans.
- Delivering ambitious but realistic growth targets for turnover and margin.
Distributor Management & Network Animation (30%)
You will manage and develop long-term relationships with existing distribution partners, ensuring strong business performance and technical credibility.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building annual business plans with each distributor.
- Defining sales objectives, market priorities, and development initiatives.
- Monitoring turnover, volumes, profitability, and market penetration.
- Organizing regular business reviews and performance discussions.
- Training distributor sales teams on product positioning and selling arguments.
- Supporting partners in customer visits and strategic account development.
- Identifying untapped opportunities within existing accounts.
- Strengthening loyalty and ensuring sustainable partnership growth.
Technical Sales Support & Product Expertise (20%)
Your responsibilities will include:
- Presenting milk replacer formulations and nutritional programs.
- Developing and adapting technical sales arguments to local market needs.
- Advising distributors on feeding protocols and performance optimization.
- Providing first-line technical support to partners and customers.
- Collaborating with internal specialists on more advanced technical questions.
- Continuously building your expertise in young animal nutrition and zootechnical performance.
- Gathering field feedback to support product improvements and innovation.
Market Intelligence & Internal Coordination (10%)
You will play an active role in capturing market insights and coordinating internally to support strategic decision-making.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting competitive and market analyses.
- Monitoring industry trends, pricing developments, and customer needs.
- Preparing structured reports and strategic recommendations.
- Sharing field intelligence with R&D, formulation, quality, supply chain, and administration teams.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of commercial practices and product offerings.
- Participating in cross-functional projects and strategic discussions.
