The local subsidiary is entering a new phase, with the ambition to strengthen its commercial organisation, further develop relationships with growers and distributors, and unlock the potential of crops and market segments that remain underdeveloped.
To support this ambition, Vilmorin-Mikado is recruiting its future Sales Manager for North/Central Morocco.


THIS ROLE OFFERS...
Reporting directly to the Subsidiary General Manager and joining the local Steering Committee, you will lead the commercial development of Vilmorin and Mikado brands across Central and Northern Morocco.
This is a hands-on sales management position combining team leadership, direct customer engagement and contribution to the subsidiary’s commercial strategy.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading, coaching and developing the local sales team by setting clear priorities, objectives and action plans.
- Spending a significant part of your time in the field, accompanying sales representatives, visiting customers and monitoring market developments.
- Managing and developing selected strategic customers, growers, dealers.
- Increasing sales, market share and margins while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Identifying new commercial opportunities, particularly within open-field crops and underdeveloped product segments.
- Contributing to the definition and implementation of the subsidiary’s medium-term business plan.
- Preparing sales forecasts and ensuring the reliability of data used within the Sales and Operations Planning process.
- Ensuring consistent use of CRM, forecasting and reporting tools across the team.
- Managing pricing, commercial conditions, customer credit exposure, payment terms and cash collection.
- Working closely with the Product Development Manager, the local management team and crop marketing teams based at headquarters.
- Developing strong internal and external partnerships and representing the company within relevant professional and technical networks.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, business ethics, local regulations and HSE requirements.
- Recruiting, onboarding, assessing and supporting team members when required.
The position is preferably based in Casablanca and involves regular travel throughout Central and Northern Morocco.
